A carefully prepared manuscript is
easier to read, easier to edit, and easier to lay out in type. It can therefore save you

manuscript and illustrations. Anyone responsible for preparing and submitting your
manuscript should become thoroughly familiar with them. If you have questions after reading
this material, please contact us at CSC Press.
Note: All items submitted to CSC Journals must be typed single-spaced and
submitted in electronic formats. The electronic version should be in Microsoft Word or in

REVIEW
PROCESS |
|
| |
The Editor first evaluates all
manuscripts. It is rare but entirely feasible for an exceptional manuscript to be accepted
at this stage. Those rejected at this stage are insufficiently original, have poor grammar
or English language, or are outside the aims and scope of the journal. Should the Editor
decide to not assign reviewers but instead reject the submission, he/she is required to
provide comments to be returned to the author. Those that meet the minimum criteria are
passed on to preferable 3 but at least 2 experts for review. Suggestions for referees from
the author are welcome, though these recommendations may or may not be used. Editors will
solicit reviewers with the title and an abstract of the submission and, if accepted, send
reviewers the submission via email. Editors should guide referees with Reviewer Guidelines.
Referees directly return their reviews to the Editor through electronic review system.
Unless the Editor
makes specific arrangements with a reviewer, the deadline to return a
completed review is 4 weeks. Upon acceptance of the paper, all authors are
then informed about the review comments and asked to submit camera-ready copy along with
publication payment fee. |

HELPFUL
HINTS FOR GETTING PUBLISHED |
|
| |
Drafting a manuscript takes time and
practice. Crafting an article to fit a publication's style requires an eye for editorial
detail. Here are some tips regarding the publications that will help prospective authors
become published?
- Keep the readers in mind. Remember that while the readers are
a sophisticated audience, both in technical training and in education, they also are
busy. Be concise when expressing ideas and use subheadings to break up the text
and make skimming easier.
- Follow a journalistic style. Provide details that illustrate
the position expressed in the article and follow a logical progression of ideas. Vary
sentence lengths to make reading easier and to engage the reader.
- Address readers clearly. Avoid unnecessarily complex
vocabulary, clichés and excessive jargon.
- Use bullets to make points easier to read.
- Provide a summary of the major points of the article at the
end as conclusion and future work.
- Provide supporting tables, figures, charts or artwork along
with the manuscript. Indicators of the location of supporting illustrations should be
included in the text, so the Journal staff will know where to place them,
but the actual art itself should be submitted in a jpg, tiff or gif file, separate
from the text. Titles should be included that explain the relevance and significance
of these supporting items.
- Please do not submit articles with automatic headers and
footers or track changes functions engaged.
- Give the article a final edit to eliminate unnecessary words.
Make sure paragraphs flow smoothly and logically.
