Its objectives are to promote and extend the use of statistical and mathematical methods in the principal disciplines of biosciences.
The International Journal of Biometric and Bioinformatics (IJBB) brings together both of these aspects of biology and creates a platform for exploration and progress of these, relatively new disiplines by facilitating the exchange of information in the fields of comuptational molecular biology and post-genome bioinformatics and the role of statistics and mathematics in the biological sciences. Bioinformatics and Biometrics are expected to have a substantial impact on the scientific, engineering and economic development of the world.
