About Professor Hu Yu-Chen |
|
Yu-Chen Hu received his PhD. degree in computer science and information engineering from the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, National Chung Cheng University, Chiayi, Taiwan in 1999. Currently, Dr. Hu is a professor in the Department of Computer Science and Information Management, Providence University, Sha-Lu, Taiwan. He is a member of IEEE and a member of Phi Tau Phi Society of the Republic of China.
Dr. Hu joints the editorial boards of several journals including Recent Patents on Engineering, Recent Patents on Computer Science, The Open Artificial Intelligence Journal, The Open Software Engineering Journal, Journal of Convergence Information Technology, International Journal of Digital Content Technology and its Applications. Besides, Dr. Hu servers as the managing editor of Journal of Information Assurance & Security since 2009. His research interests include image and signal processing, data compression, information hiding, and data engineering.
