Dr.Saif alZahir received his PhD and MS degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Wisconsin respectively. Currently, he is an associate professor with the computer science program at the University of Northern British Columbia – Canada. Dr. alZahir is involved in research in the areas of image processing, communications, graphics, and multimedia, and engineering education. In 2003, The Innovation Council of British Columbia, Canada named him British Columbia Research Fellow. He has authored or co-authored more than 75 journal and conference papers. Dr. alZahir is a member of the IEEE. He is the editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Corporate Governance, editor in Recent Patent on Signal Processing, editor in Journal of Emerging Technologies in Web Intelligence. He has served on several Technical Program Committees and chaired numerous technical sessions in International Conferences.
