ABOUT Dr. Richard Millham

Richard Millham earned his MSc at the University of Abertay in Scotland, and PhD from De Montfort University in England. After 15 years working in industry, he has spent the last five years in academe. He served as a visiting professor for several universities in South Africa, as well as acting as a postgraduate supervisor and external PhD examiner. In addition, he taught at a university in Ghana and served as a computer science curriculum consultant for the Catholic University of Sudan. He currently teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses at the University of the Bahamas.
 
His research interests include software and data evolution, service oriented and cloud computing, modeling methodologies, software engineering, information systems management, and secure programming. Some of his research sub-fields including the use of organisational learning in requirements elicitation and to aid organisation adoption of IT systems; migration of legacy systems to new paradigms, including the cloud computing environment; and cross-cultural information systems management. He has published scholarly articles in many peer-reviewed computer conferences while authoring several academic book chapters and articles. He has served on the programme committees of several international conferences and the editorial board of several computer journals.
