ABOUT Dr. Alicia Martinez Rebollar

She received her Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Valencia University of Technology, Spain and the University of Trento, Italy in 2008. She received her M.S. in Computer Science in 1997 from the National Centre for Research and Technology Development (CENIDET), Mexico. She has been recognized as Member of the Mexico´s National Systems of Researchers (SNI) by the National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT) of Mexico. Currently she is full Professor of the CENIDET, in the Distributed Systems Research Group of the Computer Science Department. She has published several papers in the best international conferences on conceptual modeling, software requirements and information system development. She also published several research works in prestigious journals and book chapters. She has participated as reviewer of several international journals, conferences and also as evaluator in research projects proposed at the CONACYT.

 

Her research interests in ubiquitous computing include the following topics: conceptual modeling for ambient intelligence systems and conceptual modeling in context-aware computing. On the other hand, the topics in software engineering includes: organizational modeling, conceptual modeling, requirements engineering and goal oriented modeling.
