About Associate Professor Nick Chandler

Nick Chandler is Associate Professor and Researcher of the Institute of Management of the Budapest Business School. He has a PhD in Management and MA in International Business. He has been a fellow of the Future of Higher Education Research Centre since 2017. He has been involved in a range of research over the past two decades, including subcultures in large complex organisations, succession in family businesses, identifying entrepreneurship potential and responsible leadership in SMEs. He is currently working on shadow leadership and realism in leadership research.

He has published research papers in refereed international journals, such as Evidence-based HRM, and the Decision Sciences Journal of Innovative Education, as well as collaborated on a number of books (e.g. ‘Managing Organizational Diversity- Trends and Challenges in Management and Engineering’, and ‘Recent Advances in the Roles of Cultural and Personal Values in Organizational Behavior’. He is a reviewer for several refereed international journals, such as Personnel Review, the Journal of Strategy and Management, and Evidence-based HRM. He also reviews for leading international conferences (e.g. AoM, EURAM and BAM). He is on a number of international editorial boards for both journals and conferences.
