About Dr. Xiaopeng Xiong

Xiaopeng Xiong is currently the senior technical director of the Feinno Communication Co.LTD, Chongqing, China. He is also serving as a guest professor of the College of Computer Science and Technology at the Chongqing University of Posts and Communications at China. His majoy interests focus on spatial-temporal databases, data indexing, data streaming, moving objects and value-added services. Xiaopeng worked as a staff software engineer as the IBM Silicon Valley Lab, focusing on DB2 core development and XML solutions during July 2007 and April 2010. He received his master degree and doctoral degree in computer science from the Purdue University in 2004 and 2007 respectively. He received his BS degree from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2001.
